The iProtect 1216 splits the radio spectrum into three bands: 50-700 MHz, 700 MHz-3 GHz, and 3-12 GHz. It shows all three on one screen. Because each band is separate, a strong signal in one band does not drown out a weak one in another.
Two OLED displays show the live level, a 5-second histogram and the likely signal type. That helps you tell a Wi-Fi router from something you did not expect.
A directional microwave antenna is built in for band 3, and an SMA rod antenna covers bands 1 and 2. Set the alarm threshold in 48 steps, and choose silent, audio or alarm mode.
The rechargeable Li-ion battery runs about 6 hours and recharges in about 4 hours by USB. Recharge with any computer, phone, wall or car charger.
