The VR-16 is our best-selling voice activated recorder. It is a USB voice recorder about the size of a flash drive, with one switch. Turn the switch one way for voice-activated mode and the other way for continuous recording.
In voice-activated mode, the VR-16 turns on by itself when it hears talking and rests once the room is quiet. That saves battery and memory, and it means less silence to skip through later. One charge lasts up to 25 days in this mode, or up to 32 hours in continuous mode. Recharge with any computer, phone, wall or car charger. Plug it into a USB port and it records for as long as it has power.
The voice-tuned microphone hears speech up to 50 feet away. Recordings are saved as MP3 files with a date and time stamp, so you can find the right moment fast.
