Discreet, private billing and Free 2-Day shipping included with each order.

    DNA Paternity Test Includes:
    • Discreet, prepaid two-way shipping with free UPS 2-Day Air
    • Test includes all testing supplies
    • DNA testing of father and child (multiple children and mother optional)
    • Paternity Tests using 16 genetic markers for accuracy.
    • 99.999% accuracy guarantee for inclusions; 100% for exclusions
    • Ability to check status and final DNA test report online (fully secured)
    • Fast test results - final results are usually received within 3 business days, 5 days guaranteed

Safely and easily collect the DNA sample in the privacy of your own home. Simply swab the inside of your cheek with one of the provided cotton swabs and then the child's cheek with the other. Send the swabs back to the laboratory using the return packaging provided and your results will be available in just 3 to 5 working days.

Test results are easy to understand and will provide conclusive answers to paternity. If the tested man is not the biological father of the child, your report will show 100% that he is not the father (exclusion of paternity). If the tested man is indeed the true biological father of the child, the test will show greater than 99.9% that he is the father (inclusion).

Shipping is discreet and all results are 100% confidential and available ONLY to the individual named on the submission form.

    F.A.Q.:
    What Is DNA?

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus (where it is called nuclear DNA), but a small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria (where it is called mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA).

The information in DNA is stored as a code made up of four chemical bases: adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T). Human DNA consists of about 3 billion bases, and more than 99 percent of those bases are the same in all people. The order, or sequence, of these bases determines the information available for building and maintaining an organism, similar to the way in which letters of the alphabet appear in a certain order to form words and sentences.

DNA bases pair up with each other, A with T and C with G, to form units called base pairs. Each base is also attached to a sugar molecule and a phosphate molecule. Together, a base, sugar, and phosphate are called a nucleotide. Nucleotides are arranged in two long strands that form a spiral called a double helix. The structure of the double helix is somewhat like a ladder, with the base pairs forming the ladder’s rungs and the sugar and phosphate molecules forming the vertical sidepieces of the ladder.

An important property of DNA is that it can replicate, or make copies of itself. Each strand of DNA in the double helix can serve as a pattern for duplicating the sequence of bases. This is critical when cells divide because each new cell needs to have an exact copy of the DNA present in the old cell.

How does a Paternity Test work?

DNA is taken from the sample or blood, cheek cells, or cultured cells. Enzymes are used to cut the DNA sample in fragments which are placed into a gel matrix. An electric current is used to drive the fragments across the gel, making the smallest fragments move the farthest and the larger fragments move the shortest distance. The separated DNA fragments are transferred to a nylon membrane. This membrane is exposed to a labeled DNA probe (a short piece of customized DNA that recognizes and binds to a unique segment of the tested person's DNA). The nylon membrane is then placed against a film which, after it is developed, reveals black bands where the probes are bound to the DNA. The child's visible band pattern is unique, with half matching the mother and half matching the father.

The process is repeated several times with different probes, each identifying a different DNA area and producing a distinct pattern. Using several probes creates a greater than 99.9% certainty about paternity or identity.

How does the testing process work?

The cheek, saliva or hair samples are sent to our fully accreddited laboratory where they are treated in order to release the DNA coding from the cells. The DNA is then introduced to an enzyme that duplicates the DNA, producing millions of copies ready for analysis.

The DNA profile is made up of STR (Short Tandem Repeat) markers. As a child inherits half of his or her DNA from each parent, every STR marker in the child's profile should be present in either the mother's or father's DNA. Our laboratory will test at least 16 STR markers to determine paternity.

The process is repeated several times with different probes, each identifying a different DNA area and producing a distinct pattern. Using several probes creates a greater than 99.9% certainty about paternity or identity.

Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL on DNA Paternity Test Kits.
